Gameday 2025

I wanted to kick off my first project of the 2025 season with a new style. I love the simplistic, yet modern look of flat designs seen around sports media and venues. As such, I wanted to take a bold and modern approach to sports graphics, utilizing strobe effects and smooth sweeping motions to emphasize the fast-paced nature of the game. This project took me relatively long to perfect as I ended up going straight into designing in After Effects rather than creating mockups in Figma. I started by creating all my screen (intro, vs transition, team transition, and lineup) and experimenting with different motions and effects. Once I created screens that I was satisfied with, it was time to import all the team logos and info.
